Hello Dog lovers!  You are going to be so glad that you tuned in today.  Our guest is Gila Kurtz who is a #1 international best-selling author and serial entrepreneur who found her deepest passion in working with dogs and their people.  Gila and her husband Jon co-founded the award winning, highly recognizable lifestyle brand for dog lovers, Dog is Good.  Gila is the recipient of several business awards including recognition as one of the top 25 women of influence in the pet industry, Woman of the Year by the Women in Pet Industry Network, and has been featured in magazines such as Success and Forbes.  She is passionate about empowering people to unleash their potential, lead with impact, and master their mindset.

Gila, why don’t you tell us how Dog is Good came to be and what it took to build the brand and the company.

And what is the focus of your business model?

What is unique about your brand?

You gave me a teaser that you are launching a new service:  CLUB DIG.  I’m dying to know what it is.

Has it already launched?

So you poured your heart out and wrote your story in a best-selling book titled Fur Covered Wisdom.  And now you have the Fur Covered Wisdom Program.

Please tell us all about it.

How did this concept come about?

You are bringing this on as a service in 2020-  tell us about this and how people can get involved....why did you decide to create this program?  what are the benefits?

You’ve had an amazing business journey so far and I’m sure it hasn’t been easy.  What is the greatest lesson you’ve learned as an entrepreneur?

What were your greatest challenges and how did you overcome them?

In closing, do you have any advice for others who about to launch a business or who are already operating one?

The Wag Out Loud pawdcast is supported by listeners like you! I started the show as a passion project that would help all of us make well-informed decisions for our dogs’ health and well-being. After many amazing guests, intriguing topics and incredible feedback, I realized the WOL pawdcast is exactly what I wanted to do. I am mission-driven and work hard to produce the best possible show I can, and I trust that if you find value in my work and have the means, you will choose to contribute. It would not be possible to consistently produce a quality show without the listener support that I receive. Thanks to all of the dog lovers out there!
